What is Kasasa?

Our partnership with Kasasa allows us to offer a line of personal deposit products that rewards you in ways you might not think a community bank could.

How do I sign up for eStatments?

You can easily sign up for eStatments by logging on to your personal online banking. From there, select the “profile” tab and select edit next to the “Electronic Statements” heading. Select eStatement next to the account(s) you would like to enroll and verify your email address.  Finish by reading our Online Statement Disclosures and select to accept or decline the terms.

Can I renew my license plate sticker at Prospect Bank?

We currently offer this service at our Kansas, Sidell and Homer locations.

Do you offer Safe Deposit Boxes?

Safe Deposit Boxes are available at our Paris, Ashmore, Gilman, Homer, and Sidell locations. We also offer personal storage boxes at our Kansas location.  Call us for pricing details.

Can I open an account online?

Yes! We offer online account opening as a convenient way to open a personal account at Prospect Bank. Do it HERE.

Can I apply for a loan online?

Yes! We currently offer online applications for personal consumer loans as well as mortgage loans.

What is a cashier’s check?

A cashier’s check is a check drawn by a financial institution on its own funds and made payable to another person or entity. They are considered a very reliable form of payment. However, given that the use of counterfeit cashier’s checks is on the rise, you should still exercise caution when accepting them.

How does a debit card work?

A debit card can be used for point of sale transactions or ATM withdrawals. Any time a debit card transaction is conducted the amount is automatically deducted from the available balance of your checking account. You can also register your Prospect Bank Debit Card with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay and pay electronically using our Digital Wallet.

What is the difference between the terms ‘available’ and ‘cleared’?

“Available” means that the financial institution is making the funds available for withdrawal. However, the credit to your account can still be reversed if the check doesn’t clear the check writer’s account. “Cleared” means the financial institution has received payment for the funds from the check writer’s account.

Is my personal information safe if I use online banking?

Yes, this is a secure website that requires a username and password at the time of log in. If you are using a public computer it will ask you a series of two multi-factor questions along with your user code and password for added security.

What do I do if I suspect my online account has been compromised?

Contact an Electronic Banking representative at Prospect Bank to review your account and reset your username and password. Reach us at 1-877-465-4154, or email us here!

How do I report a lost credit/debit card?

To report a lost or stolen debit card during normal business hours, please call our Electronic Banking Department at 1-877-465-4154. If you are calling after hours, please call 1-800-472-3272. It is important that you report a lost or stolen card as soon as possible so that you are not held accountable for any charges made on your account after the loss of your card.

What if I lose my debit card and someone makes charges to my account?

Immediately report those transactions that you believe to be unauthorized. A report must be filed within 60 days of the incident and you will be required to complete an affidavit of unauthorized debit activity. Once your situation has been declared fraudulent, the money will be refunded.

How can I reset my password?

Simply click the “Forgot Password” link. A temporary password will be sent to the email address we have on file. This temporary password is only valid for 30 minutes. If you do not receive a temporary password within 10 minutes, please check your Junk mailbox. If you still haven’t received it, please contact our Electronic Banking Department at 877-465-4154.

What if I can’t remember my login information?

What information is required to open an account?

We require a valid photo identification (state driver’s license, state ID card, passport, military ID), date of birth, current physical address and social security number to open any account. Rest assured, your personal information will be kept confidential.

Is the bank allowed to use my personal information for reasons not related directly to my account?

Please review our privacy policy, which describes in detail how the bank uses your personal information. If you have any questions or concerns about the sharing of your information that aren’t covered in the privacy policy, feel free to contact us toll-free at 877-465-4154.

How can I set up my online account?

Click on “Register” under Access Your Account at the top of any page on the site. After reading the terms and conditions agreement, click the “Accept” button at the bottom of the page. You will be prompted to fill out a series of questions including your account number, Telebanc PIN number (if you are not sure whether you have a Telebanc PIN number, please contact your local branch), and your account type.

How can I check the status of my loan application?

Contact your local branch’s Lending Services department. A lending associate will check with your loan officer to see if your application has been determined eligible for a loan.

How do I customize my accounts by name?

Login to online banking and select “edit accounts” next to print on your home page. Here you can customize your account(s) by name and move them into the order you prefer to view.

Where do I find my Telebanc PIN number?

Contact your local branch for your Telebanc PIN.

How can I get the most out of my savings account?

Keep withdrawals to a minimum to avoid added service charges.

Set up automatic deposits into your savings account.

Monitor your balance to avoid falling below the minimum balance.

Set up automatic withdrawals from savings to avoid overdrawing your checking account.
